New News!

Here we are in the middle of Autumn. I see why its called Fall. Leaves are falling everywhere. The North Fork is beautiful this time of year. The wineries are in full harvest mode. The latest in Greenport is:

It missed a big chunk of the Summer season, but The Blue Canoe finally opened.  It is a breath of fresh air, and offers some delicious offerings on its menu. The views are among the best of Greenport’s majestic water views.

The Peconic Jitney, was a huge hit. It is hands down, the best and only way to get a taste of the Hamptons, without dealing with the nightmare of traffic that is the South Fork. The high speed ferry service whisks passengers between Greenport Village and Sag Harbor.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?

There is a giant rock in the water to the left of 67 Steps Beach in Greenport on the Long Island Sound. It is a great place to reflect and realize how insignificant our lives are when looking out at the sea. It has a calming effect.  That is my favorite inanimate object out here.
